Before becoming a Medicare broker, Bill was a public servant. Working in Tucson, he rose to the rank of Battalion Chief and also served as a 20-year captain. Before becoming a fire fighter, he was a professional baseball player. Having played for 13 years and played in the 1989 world series with the S.F. Giants. As a member of that team, he had a pinch hit 3 run home run in game 3 of the famous earthquake world series in San Francisco. Before playing for the Giants, he played for the Oakland A’s with Jose Canseco and Mark McGwire. In his first at bat in Yankee stadium, he clubbed a home run off of Ron Guidry to help the A’s defeat the Yankees. He ended his playing career in Japan, playing 2 seasons in Japan for the Nippon Ham Fighters. Who knew?

Awards

Bill won the “Arizona Reader’s Choice Award” for two years running as the best agent in Pima County. He has also won the Ed Neville award through the fire department for his contributions to the EMS program. He helped start programs that are instrumental in the daily operations of the fire department today.

His Values

After baseball, he dedicated his life to helping others. Through the fire department and now as a Medicare broker. He is a Christian and has a beautiful family with 6 kids and 6 grand kids. His values center around his faith and through integrity and servant leadership. And through these values, he helps guide you to the right plans that fit you best. In his spare time, he enjoys time with the family and traveling.
